D Aspartic Acid

When you want to build muscle, testosterone is a supplement that you can’t do without. People of all ages are looking for the best testosterone booster to get bigger gains in the gym. When you want the best product, you need the best ingredients.

Whenever I am looking for a top test-boosting supplement, there is one ingredient that I always look for: D Aspartic Acid. On this page, I’ll go into detail on the properties that make this a “must have” ingredient for any t-boosting supplement that’s worth spending your hard-earned money on.

D Aspartic Acid and Testosterone Boosting

This is an amino acid that plays a crucial role for many functions in the body. It is basically the building block of protein, which you know is the building block of muscle. It also controls certain hormones and transmitters in the body. Whether you are using it for muscle gain or not, this aminod aspartic acid and testosterone boosting acid is beneficial for your health.

The primary role of D Aspartic Acid when consumed is to regulate your hormone levels. Specifically, it releases hormones in the brain that increase testosterone production. It also plays a large role in boosting the production of, and release of, testosterone in the testicles. For this reason, you can see why it is an integral part of any test-boosting formula.

What Studies Indicate

One study examined men aged 27-37 on a D Aspartic Acid supplement for a nearly two week period. At the end of the study, it was found that a majority of the test subjects (20 out of 23) had an increase in their testosterone levels during this time. The average increase was 42%! Even when they discontinued the use of this supplement, three days after the conclusion of the study their t-levels were still 22% higher than prior to the experiment.

Given the results of this short-term study, another experiment was conducted to see what the longer-term effects would be. Over a 90-day study, test subjects showed an increase of at least 30%, with some showing an increase of nearly 60%, in their t-levels!

Other Considerations

It should be noted, however, that if you already have a high testosterone, the benefits of D Aspartic Acid are not as advantageous. Supplements containing this ingredient show the most promise for individuals who are otherwise inactive or have a low testosterone level to begin with.
