What to Drink to Lose Weight in 3 Days

Have a big occasion coming up soon and you’re running out of time to lose a little bit of unwanted weight? We’ve all been there before. Perhaps you’re attending a wedding this weekend and want to look great in that dress or suit. Maybe you have plans to go out to the beach or to a pool party. Whatever the case is, there are times when you want to lose weight fast.

Drink This to Lose Weight in 3 Days

Water

One thing that will help you on your quick weight loss goal is drinking a lot of water. We go into more detail here on how water helps you lose pounds, but it bears repeating. Water is possibly the best thing you can put in your body. It helps keep all your organs and body functions in check, keeping them working at their best level. On top of that, drinking a couple of glasses before a meal can make you feel full. When you aren’t as hungry, you won’t overeat during your meal, you keep your calorie intake in check, and you lose weight.

This rule for losing weight is so fundamental, it’s a cornerstone to the Military Diet (detailed here) which mandates drinking water and nothing but water!

Smoothies

It is no secret that fruits are great for weight loss. Maybe you’re not a fan of fruits in their solid form. In that case, blend them into a smoothie to get the same fat-fighting benefits! Fruits are full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that make them powerful calorie burners and are an important part of any balanced diet. Make a smoothie of your own at home, or stop by a Jamba Juice or Smoothie King or other local health store and get one of these delicious blended treats.

Caffeine

The reason for including this in the list is two-fold. For one, caffeine is a powerful fat burner. We go into great detail in this article about all the weight loss benefits of caffeine (and caffeine diet pills), so I’ll spare you the long explanation here. In addition to its fat-fighting properties, this is also included because of the boost of energy it will provide. If you want to lose weight fast, you’ll need to get some exercise and burn some calories. If you’re tired and not wanting to get moving, a cup of coffee may be what you need!
